World Vision’s focus is on helping the most vulnerable children in the most dangerous places to overcome poverty and injustice. We help children of all backgrounds living in the toughest places, inspired by our Christian faith. Together, thanks to supporters and partners around the world, we've impacted the lives of over 200 million vulnerable children by tackling the root causes of poverty. Now, we're using our 70 years of expertise to help children at home in the UK.

What's inside your pack?

How do you feel today?

Lumbi the monkey (‘Lumbili’ means ‘monkey’ in Swahili) can help your child talk about their emotions in their own words and understand how they feel and why. This activity aims to support your child’s emotional well-being and health.

(15-30 minutes / 5-11yrs)

Draw your superhero

Not all heroes have capes and superpowers. This drawing activity helps children identify heroes around them such as doctors, nurses but also parents and teachers and encourages them to talk about their ‘superpowers’.

(15-30 minutes / 5-11yrs)

A child like me

Ireen’s story will show your child how other children around the world live and what challenges they may face. This activity aims to get your child to think creatively about how they could help.

(15-30 minutes / 5-11yrs)

Play Mancala

Mancala is one of the oldest strategy games in the world, commonly played in Africa and Asia. Within this activity, your child can have a go at playing Mancala and even design their own playing board.

(20-30 minutes / 8yrs+)

Build a 'tippy tap'

Show your child how children around the world with no access to taps can wash their hands by building a 'tippy tap' together. Watch our handy video here which shows you how you can build one at home too.

(30-45 minutes / 8yrs+)
